The experienced staff at 1st Priority are skilled in a range of therapeutic modalities. All of our staff hold degrees, licenses, and certifications in their areas of speciality. Our team works collaboratively to ensure that the needs of our clients are fully met.


Meet the 1st Priority Team

Clinical Director

Our Clinical Director holds a Bachelors in Psychology and a Masters in Social Work with a School Social Work Specialization, and active full licensure in Kentucky, Arizona, and Texas. The Clinical Director is also certified as a school social worker with the KY Education Professional Standards Board. Our Clinical Director has done direct practice in many social work settings including residential, school-based, in-office, in-home, intensive outpatient crisis services, crisis stabilization unit, and previously conducted investigations for the Cabinet for Health and Family Services. In addition to providing supervision and leadership to our entire team, our Clinical Director specializes in crisis intervention, anxiety, and helping individuals heal from trauma.

  • Outpatient Therapist

    Our Outpatient Therapist obtained Bachelor of Science degrees in Computer Technology and Psychology from IUPUI (Indiana) as well as a Masters from Chicago School of Professional Psychology (Illinois). This provider currently holds a certification in juvenile sexual offender treatment, and a Kentucky LPC-A. Our Outpatient Therapist provides specialized counseling services for children, youth, and young adults.

  • Outpatient Therapist (Telehealth)

    Our Outpatient Therapist specializes in providing comprehensive outpatient services utilizing our Telehealth platforms. The provider earned a Masters of Education in Mental Health Counseling & Human Growth and Development from Lindsay Wilson College and holds a current LPC-A. This provider specializes in individual counseling, group counseling, family counseling, substance abuse treatment, career counseling, autism disorder, parenting enrichment, and addressing multicultural issues.

Outpatient Art Therapist

The Outpatient Art Therapist earned bachelor degrees in Pan African Studies, History/Fine Arts, and Psychology as well as a Masters Degree in Counseling and Personnel Services from the University of Louisville. This provider holds a current LPATA License and has a strong foundation in creative therapeutic techniques with a deep understanding of the healing power of art. Our Art Therapist has the ability to engage a diverse client population in expressive arts therapy, facilitating emotional expression, and promoting mental well-being.

Outpatient Substance Abuse Counselor

Our Substance Abuse Counselor obtained both a bachelors degree as well as a Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Kentucky. This fully Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializes in providing both group and individual services in substance abuse treatment and addition recovery. The provider also has experience in services such as domestic violence, in-home treatment, child protection services, crisis management, and suicide prevention.
